We are living in a society where parental rights has been slowly ripping away from under us one pull at a time, by our lawmakers, who are enacting laws that allow our young daughters, at a earlier age to have access to the morning after pill, without a prescription, not to mention without parental consent.
Do they consider that these children are still babies? You can still smell the similac on their breaths from afar. Have they thought of the medication side effects and how it will affect their developing bodies. Have they thought of the long term effects of the entire family unit? Who will be paying for this medication? Is it the parents or the tax payers? The morning after pill (one tablet) cost $43.00-$55.00 depending on where you go. I'm applaud.
OMG I totally agree. I think the age set originally was appropriate because a 17 year old is nearly a legal adult. They are able to work and pay bills and some have even graduated from high school at that age. A 15 year old is still under a parents full supervision. How can these law makers make such a dramatic decision with out even a vote from the citizens of this country. Which brings me to my next point of how they can tell a parent they are not allowed to spank their children. When they grow up to be hell raisers then they blame the parental figures as if they had the proper opportunity to discipline the child when it madde a difference.
